Law enforcement agencies and Dunkin' Donuts stores across the country are partnering with Special Olympics to raise funds and support athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Wisconsin's Cop on a Rooftop
In central Wisconsin, officers from various departments participated in the "Cop on a Rooftop" event on Friday. They stood on rooftops at 40 Dunkin' Donuts locations, collecting donations from customers.
Franklin Park's Contribution
Franklin Park cops also took part in the initiative, raising funds for the local Special Olympics chapter.
Illinois' Success
In Illinois, the Cop on a Rooftop event has raised nearly $10 million for Special Olympics programs since its inception 10 years ago.
